The purpose of a playground inspection is to identify safety hazards regarding compliance with the current U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's Guidelines for playground safety and ASTM Safety Performance Specifications for Playground Equipment for Public Use.
Environments&co. Playground Inspection Process
1. Within 10 business days of an agreed upon service request to ensure safety compliance — Environments&co. will visit the playground to conduct an inspection.
2. Within 5 days of playground inspection — Environments&co. will deliver a PDF report with inspection findings, including:
- Photos and descriptions of any non-compliant items and/or areas of concern
- A certificate indicating non-compliance or compliance
Methods for providing repairs (if possible) will be noted in the report.
In less than a month of requesting a playground inspection, you will receive a certificate and information about the status of your playground and how to improve it for the safety of children at play.
